This is an impressive country wide starter high speed system that the White House has proposed.  It would be great to be able to travel without having to go through airport security or having to stop at seedy truck stops periodically.  There’s really no way for us to sustain our current transportation system indefinitely.  Making an investment in infrastructure like this will really go a long way towards revitalizing the economy.
